Poor Canada.<br /><br />Germany is the bastard child of individualist and socialist society. But the focus of the populace tends to be more socialist (from what I observed, I also was nowhere near Berlin). But someone who is interested in interculture told me that America is a No. 1-individualistic culture among English speakers. Can't say that I'...Phew, the worst is over. Can't say that I'm familiar with other cultures as I'm one of the individuals of which you speak, but I would bet that Canada is possibly even more individualistic than us. And then there's France.
